Rossendale United Junior FC is proud to celebrate the achievements and spirit of our Under-16 SEN (Special Educational Needs) team, who are competing in the inspiring Disability Counts League. This team embodies everything grassroots football stands for—passion, teamwork, resilience, and inclusion.
The Disability Counts League provides a safe, supportive, and competitive environment for young players with additional needs to thrive. Our U16 SEN squad has shown incredible growth both on and off the pitch, developing their skills, confidence and camaraderie with every match.
Rossendale United is committed to making football accessible to all, and the U16 SEN team is a shining example of how inclusive sport can empower young people and bring communities together. We’re incredibly proud of their journey and look forward to seeing them continue to flourish throughout the season.
